Jake formed The 7th Sons in 2010 so he could sing more of his favorite classic rock songs that he grew up with. He was "discovered" at the age of 19 by Paul Kantner and Grace Slick of the Jefferson Airplane while performing with his band "One" in Bolinas, CA, a small beach town near San Francisco where they decided to raise their only child China. They invited the band to join their new RCA Records subisidiary Grunt Records, which we gladly accepted, recorded the album "Come" and supporting single "Free Rain" and toured with Hot Tuna and on our own at Fillmore West, Pepperland, Golden Gate Park, San Franciso Erotic Art Museum, John Lennon's private birthday party, the first Erotic Exotic Ball in SF, and many other festivals, parties, and big name venues.

After that great run, Jake continued to perform with many local bands including Chinga Chavin (Country Porn), Judge Murphy (Zero, Landsdale Station), John Neff (Night Sage), and local legends Eugene Huggins, Joe Tate (The Red Legs), and Jesse Kincaid (The Rising Sons) before forming The 7th Sons. Many well known musicians have performed with The Sons including singer Davey Pattison (Gamma, Robin Trower), guitarist Craig Bartok (Heart), and singer Frankie Adel (Sha Na Na).

Jake is a true Renaissance Man--involved in music, acting, and real estate. He has earned an BS in business from UC Berkeley, an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from Domincian University, and can be seen acting in too many movies to count including block-busters 'Steve Jobs' starring Kate Winslet, Seth Rogan, and Michael Fassbender, 'San Andreas' starring Dwayne Johnson, 'Running Wild' starring Sharon Stone, 'The Fixer' starring James Franco, 'The Wizard starring Jon Voight, 'Chance' starring Hugh Lowry , 'You Can't Say No' starring Peter Fonda, 'I'm a Virgo' by Boots Riley, and on and on.

Breize

Breize began singing mostly country until she realized classic rock was her vocal niche. She has fronted a number of bands including 'Push,' a four piece cover ensemble which had her travelling throughout the states. Breize then joined 'Murphy's Lawyer,' a 6-piece Classic Rock band in which she sang lead. Murphy's Lawyer played everything from Boston to Heart and Journey. For 10 years they booked a variety of venues in the North Bay...the Sonoma County Fair being a fan favorite. Breize enjoys getting the crowd dancing and over all "just having a good time"!

RubinRay

Rubin Ray studied music playing saxophone in the High School marching band and guitar in his college jazz band. Rubin’s music has been played 1000 of times on college radio. Cover bands he's been in over the years include The 80s Ago Gos, Vintage Bukebox Orchestra, Sweet Hands from Danville, the PTK Band from Livermore, the XSTATIC band from San Leandro, and he regularly sat in with the Alameda All Stars. He has 8 CDs out with the Black Angels.

Jenny Larsen

Jenny Larsen grew up in Hawaii and the East Bay, and then attended UC Berkeley where she studied piano performance and music education, playing everything from classical to rock, pop, and broadway. She is now a music/piano teacher and performer, having played in Cal's Marching band, with the East Bay's "Melted Vinyl," and at various weddings, churches, and private parties in venues across the Bay Area as well as Carnegie Hall.

Tom Martin

Bassist and vocalist Tom Martin has been touring and playing throughout the Bay Area for decades, appearing with the John Allair Trio, the Vintage Jukebox Orchestra, Bay Society, Peter Rowan, Van Morrison, Dizzy Gillespie, and many other groups and ensembles. He arranged music for the theatre that he performed at The Kennedy Center and the Herbst Theater. Tom holds a BA in Music Performance from SSU, and his scores for theater have been performed on stages across the US and in Europe.
